You are probably familiar with the three-finger greeting - Ctrl + Alt + Del. Prior to the release of Windows Vista, you could directly access the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del. The fastest way to access the Task Manager - assuming your keyboard is working - just press Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
